Swedish striker Joel Mumbongo has signed for Scottish side Hamilton Academical.
Joel Mumbongo made four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Burnley in the 2020/2021 season.
In the summer of 2022, he left for Tranmere Rovers. There were 19 games in League Two, but no goals.
The 24-year-old has been clubless since the summer. He has previously been linked with Cheltenham Town and Carlisle United.
Now Hamilton Academical announces via his official channels that the Swede is ready for the club.
Mumbongo has signed for the rest of the season with an option for another year.
Hamilton Academical is in second place in the Scottish Third League.
The striker has previously belonged to the clubs BK Häcken, Utsiktens BK and Hellas Verona.
